Once a month on Thursday at 6:30pm: May 31, June 28, July 26, and August 23
Town Historian Robert Hughes will lead a historical walking tour of
Huntington Village, starting at 6:30. Along the way we will stop at three
pubs, all of which play a role in Huntington’s history. At each stop
participants will have enough time to enjoy a pint or two!
On Thursday, May 31 and Thursday, July 26 the theme is “Huntington in the
Nineteenth Century.” On Thursday, June 28 and Thursday, August 23 the theme
is “Huntington in the 1920s.”
The tour will begin at the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Building, located at
228 Main Street in Huntington Village, doors will open at 6pm, so
participants can get a chance to view our exhibit, and the tour will begin
at 630pm.
The cost of the walking tour is $5 for HHS members and $10 for non-members. (Drinks are not included but participants will get discounts at each establishment.)

Great Music, New Menus!
JB Baretsky kicks off a weekend celebration of great music TONIGHT at 9pm! Performing his vintage-style jazz adaptations of contemporary music and classic standards, JB is truly something fresh and unique on the scene. If you haven’t seen this Long Island native perform, DON’T MISS this opportunity-he’s fantastic! We’ll continue our weekend of great entertainment with the dance-worthy hip hop beats of the WonderTwinz tomorrow night for Social Saturdays, and a Jazz Brunch on Sunday with live acoustic music and a Build-Your-Own Bloody Mary Bar. Old School will be performing tonight at Huntington Social starting at 9:30 PM. This Long Island-based band presents classic rock with authentic vocal harmonies and faithful recreations of hits from the 60′s and 70′s. With a repertoire consisting of the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, The Doobie Brothers, The Eagles, Eric Clapton, Queen and more, this band is sure to electrify Huntington Social with its jam-packed energy. Love is in the air and it’s spreading around town. As a Huntington Socialite, you know that Valentine’s Day is the perfect holiday to WOW your significant other. What’s the recipe for a night of romance?
- Plan ahead! Coordinate with your significant other. If you don’t have plans yet, establish them tonight! Valentine’s Day is only five days away!
- Put together a perfect outfit! Ladies, you know that little red dress in your closet? Tonight is the night to wear it! Pair it with a few pieces of simple jewelry and a great pair of heels. Gentlemen, tonight more than ever is the time to look perfectly polished with a nice pair of pants, clean shoes, an elegant belt, and a smashing button-down shirt. Tie and jacket is optional but always appreciated.
- Do something fun! Start with an activity that you would never do on a normal day that you both could enjoy. Perhaps you always wanted to go ballroom dancing but never found a reason. This is a perfect activity that will bring you closer. Other romantic ideas include visiting the local art gallery, watching a film at a local theater, browsing the bookstore, or strolling through the park. Luckily, we’re having a warm winter this year, so take advantage of the outdoors!

Enjoy a splendid five course tasting menu created and prepared by Chef Christopher Lee himself. One of the selections includes the ever-popular Yellow Fin Tuna Tartare. You and your date can also opt for a libation pairing, in which the best cocktails, beers, and wines are hand-picked to accompany each selection. The five-course tasting menu will be available this Friday, Saturday and Valentine’s Day for $85 per person. The optional libation pairing is an additional $25.
- After dinner: stay for drinks! Your friends are bound to be around with their dates, since Huntington Social is the best place to be on Valentine’s Day. If you choose you can get cozy in the romantic red velvet booths and enjoy Huntington Social’s bottle service with your date only or share the love with friends.

We will be throwing the best party in Huntington with the game streaming through our flat screens. The most unique and shocking event in Huntington, After Hours Burlesque at Huntington Social, returns this February with four wonderful talents! Come see why audiences around the world line up to watch Legs Malone, the girl with the 34 1/2 inseam, perform! Joining her will be Cassandra Rosebeetle, an accomplished burlesque dancer. In addition, we welcome back Amber Ray, who you may have seen at our last burlesque show. Last but not least, the host for the night is Bastard Keith, a “quadruple threat singer-host-performer-writer who [provides] his uniquely volatile charm to burlesque shows.” The show will begin at 11PM. The cover charge is $10 and includes a libation (draught beer or house wine). Come early to get a great seat because this is definitely an event you won’t want to miss!

The place was packed and we’re expecting an even bigger crowd tonight. Social Saturdays is always a hit every week with the Wonder Twinz spinning the best music for dancing, sipping a cocktail with friends or just lounging around Huntington Social. As always, the Wonder Twinz starts the party at 10PM.
